About Dirt
TLDR: Award-winning creative. Zero agency fluff.
Dirt Media was founded in 2016 by David Burroughs and Brian Lichty — with backgrounds in feature film production, photography, brand work, ad tech, marketing, advertising and design. That mix shows up in our work: brand strategy, video production, web development, and integrated campaigns built by people who’ve actually worked at that level before.
Our studio sits in Annapolis’ design district — a corner of town full of creative energy with plenty of room to shoot, edit, and strategize under one roof. From there, we work with clients across Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and well beyond the Mid-Atlantic, without ever feeling like an agency stretched too thin to actually deliver. Locally, we’ve become the team people call first — an award-winning creative shop.

Ben is Dirt’s secret weapon. He’s the guy you ask how it works before you Google it. With an uncanny ability to understand technology, solve complex problems, and make the complicated feel simple, Ben is the person everyone turns to when they hit a wall. He’s also an exceptional editor, bringing patience, precision, and an eye for detail to every project. As Dirt’s utility knife, he quietly keeps productions moving and finds solutions others don’t see. Ben is a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design.
